My acadia was a valentines present from my husband. When I saw it I loved it. Handles good and it was spacy. Three months went by when the car started making this weird noise when I would go left then the air bag light when off. That got fix but the noise is still there. GMC comp. said they couldn't fix my problem. I wouldn't recommend it!

I was hesitant to buy a domestic but loved the look of the Acadia enough to visit the showroom. I bought the '08 thinking the bugs would be out of a new product launch and I think I was correct, it has been absolutely flawless. The ride is fantastic, just stiff enough to feel "sporty" yet smooth and comfortable. The performance is excellent and we love to take it on long trips. On those long trips the fuel mileage is in the 23 to 26 mpg range, must be dependent on wind and terrain. We traveled over 500 miles on a single tank, as good as my husbands Toyota sedan. I love my Acadia, it has been perfect, no problems. I'd get the '08 to avoid any first year launch bugs.

Comments about autoMedia 2008 GMC Acadia SUVs:
I use it for day to day driving. Love the exterior look of it. I purchased the SLT brand new in 10/2007. By April 2008,it started to leak water into the vehicle. The first time was on the passenger side under the glove compartment, it was soaked. The next leak happened in Oct 2008. The 3rd row dome lights were leaking water, I brought it in for repair got it back and the next morning the leak started through the drivers side seatbelt holder. I brought it back for repair and in less than a week, it is leaking again at the 3rd row dome lights. They said it has to do with the sun roof draining system. It has been in 3 times for leak repairs and now I have to bring it in again tomorrow. The dealership said they have had about 10 vehicles come in with this problem. I'm not impressed.

Comments about autoMedia 2008 GMC Acadia SUVs:
I have found more reasons to drive now that I have my Acadia. Despite the spike in gas prices I still find myself only filling up once a week just like I used to when I had my 4 dr sedan. I have taken several family trips and just the ride to work is more pleasant. However, buying the car with only 11 miles on it and having it for 2 months shy of a year, I am very unhappy that I've had to take it to the dealership for over 12 repairs. 3 of which seem to be a reoccuring thing. Love my Acadia. Hate going back to the dealer for faulty parts!

smooth quit ride. love the bose sound system and leather. tri-zone A/C is awsome, kids are not a sweaty mess sitting in the back like our last suv(nissan pathfinder)

This is our family hauler, wife was a no-go on a minivan which was fine by me. We like the styling, both inside and out of the Acadia. All three of the GM crossovers look cool in my opinion and we almost selected the Buick Enclave. In the end we liked the rugged look of the Acadia. Fuel mileage is better than a full sized SUV, by 2 or 3 in town and by 5 or six on the freeway. It isn't an economy car in terms of mileage, but an extra 50 miles from a tank of gas is really nice. Quality is great and we have not had any problems in 5,000 miles.
