    I am guessing you have 18 year old brake fluid in that car. If so, the cheapest fix to try before you spend big bucks is to flush your brake fluid. Get your friend or wife to pump the brake pedal while you drain each wheel point of the brakes till it runs clean. It's a simple operation.
