    A/C clutch not engaging

    A/C pump clutch not engaging

    First post here.
AdSense square code --> I've jumpered the clutch directly to the battery and it is operational. Doing this I recharged the system to operating spec's figuring the system was just low on freon. After recharging I reconnected the pump to it's normal lead, started the car and turned on A/C. Still nothing.

I've tried finding the low pressure sensor and the relay but am having no luck. I've read that some corsica's only use one pressure switch, but none of the parts stores in my area seem to know.

My car is a 1995 Chev Corsica with the 3.1L V6.

Any suggestions on where I can go from here? Any help would be appreciated.

On some GM cars the high pressure sensor is on back of the pump. And the relay should be in the sevice center in the engine compartment.

is the blower working????? if it is not wire it direct to the battery. See if the blower will still run. thats the 1 st thing i would do. Then I would get under my dash and see if anything came apart near the controls. start with the ez stuff first then go from there.....good luck
