Car maintenance education for your teens

Over the holiday my daughter had a slight car-crisis AKA flat tire.  Which served as a casual wake up call to teach her some basic "car education".  How to change the tire was lesson number 1... LOL.

I imagine lesson number 2 will be charging the battery.  I also found some great tips for conserving gas and adopting environmentally-friend driving habits.  You might want to share with your kids at carfunfootprint.com.

We did a demonstration last night of the difference in speed on her mileage and she couldn't believe it.  So that was at least impressive to her. And hopefully helps her avoid tickets as well.

You might also want to consider enrolling her in a program like Ford Driving Skills for Life. More information on the program can be found at their website: https://www.drivingskillsforlife.com/ All kinds of good info here for teen drivers!
