There are brand new 2006 canyons and colorados available with crazy incentives. Am I crazy to entertain the deal on a '06 when the '08 will be out in a couple of months? You hear alot about the tacoma and frontier in this market, but they are close to $30,000. GM came out with the 100,000 mile protection in '07, so i assume that is why the '06 models are still on the lot. My wife loves the look of the Ridgeline and the Avalanche. Figures the wife likes the models over $30,000. If I take a chance with the GM models, I may be able to get $6,000 off the sticker and have a crew cab for about $21,000. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

seat comfort in Chevy SSR?

Hi,
I'm late to the parade, because somehow I missed the event! I just found out about the Chevy SSR by walking past one in a parking lot. (I work too many hours to get to watch TV. I missed the commercials!).
I want to purchase one (even used), but before I do, I need to know an important detail: How is the seat comfort? My wife has a bad back.
When on trips, we rent cars, trying out the seats. Surprisingly,
the seats in the PT Cruiser are really comfortable for my wife's
back. We bought one for her.
I am looking for my next vehicle. My old sedan went
away (278,000 miles). I now have only the Chevy truck, with seats that
make my wife's back hurt. If someone can tell me about the seats in an SSR, I will attempt to track one down at a dealer for a wife and me test drive.
    Thanks in advance!
