I have just installed a reman trans in a 84 ford club-wagon engine is 351win. The trans shifts ok but at 3rd gear the engine sounds like its waiting to go in another gear,going at 55mph, the engine sounds like it doing 80mph.What I'm trying to find out is the fault in the carb/or trans,? And what type of adjustments would have to be made? Any advice would be appreciated.
