fuel pump removal -2001 Mustang

After removing the gas tank and the top cover I cannot see how to remove the fuel pump assembly. If I pop the 2 top clips it will not come out because the bracket is too far offset from the access hole and I can't see any way to release the bracket. I would like to get this thing apart without breaking anything.

Remove the flange bolts, pull the module assembley flange up and out, until the locking tabs are accessible, reach through the opening and squeeze the locking tabs together then remove the unit.
