    4.0 to 5.4 swap on a 05 mustang

I have a 2005 V6 stang i really would like to grab some major horses out of it as of right know the car only has a coolair and exahust on it. I was wondering what would all have to be changed if i were wanting to go from a 4.0 to a 5.4 or if i can even do that... if some one could just point me in the right direction... it would help me alot..

    Thank you

I'd advise agains it. First, a V6 Mustang has more power than an '84 Corvette.

Next, the driveshaft, differential and rear end were designed for a V6. You'll quickly find what wasn't designed for a V-8 as so as (if) you get it running. Next, a set of sticky tires (Toyo TSI are GREAT in the rain, Michelin Pilot Sport 2, Michelin Exalto 2 are good choices.  Do NOT get "all season versions, they have less grip wet and dry and than summer tires.)
