    lug nut torque

    I am trying to find the proper torque for lug nuts for a 2000 Buick Century Custom.

    Use an x pattern - Ideally, the nuts should be torqued to the specification in the owner's manual, but most people don't carry a torque wrench in their trunk.  don't have that particular manual but you may want to go to an autozone and peek at a manual while in the store, or buy it.

    Tighten in a criss cross pattern 140NM(100ft lbs)
