    LexusSC300 1995 Key won't lock in ignition

    Lexus SC300 1995 Auto.
    Key will turn/start car and gear can shift to P,R,N,D,1,2 ....
    BUT when I turn off car the key goes only to ACC and the steering wheel won't lock and can't remove key.
    Please help.. any infor would be greatly appreciated.

    Sounds like it's time for a new ignition switch. First try getting a new key from the Lexus dealer.
