Yeah. This is a good concept, but done in a terrible way. why not just place an airbag in the back of the front seats? An airbag across the chest will do nothing to protect the head and neck of the passenger.

After this has been released and 1 out of 3 people owns one, I will miss the day that hearing a boxer engine wrap out and a blow of valve whistle meant a road going rally car was mashing around. In the future it will mean a group of d-bags with flat bills bumping pop music and smoking pot on there way to the skate-park to pose. Every toyota car and pickup has became so generic because there is an illusion that they are quality and good vehicles. Tacomas are the worst. Every owner modifies it. But instead of one standing out they are all the same. Because every owner does the same modifications. Its pathetic. They don't look good and they aren't good at what they are "built for". The biggest misconception is that they go forever. Go on craigslist and look at toyota tacomas. EVERY tacoma on there will be overpriced for the mileage and most have been rebuilt. Almost all the old ones will be rebuilt. They do not go forever. They do not do what they were made to do and they are way way way overrated. Don't even get me started on the prius.
