Photo Gallery: Throttle Body Injection Rebuild


fuel injection cleaner spray to remove varnish
Place the TBI on a solvent-proof catch tray. Use carburetor or fuel injection cleaner to remove gum and varnish from all passages and ports. Do not use wire or sharp objects. If a chemical dip is used, do not submerge rubber and plastic parts or fuel injectors.

remove tbi bolts to intake manifold
remove trottle body injector tbi
remove oil gasket from intake manifold
fuel injection cleaner spray to remove varnish
remove old o-rings
remove fuel pressure regulator
replace fuel pressure regulator o-rings
remove injector from mixing body
replace fuel injector o-rings and collars
fuel to leak from the throttle body
Replace all fuel injector seal rings
Throttle Position Sensor
The Idle Speed Control motor
