The 2012 McLaren MP4-12C is probably worth every penny of its $229,000 price tag … assuming you have a place to drive it for what it's worth. McLaren describes their sports, er, race cars as "visually arresting," which seems apropos if you want to drive one on public roads. Of couse, it can be done; just like not eating turkey on Thanksgiving. Good luck with that. The MP4-12C has a top speed of 205 mph and produces 592 horsepower at 7,000 rpm.
