The 2012 Acura RL is Acura’s flagship mid-range luxury sedan. Standard equipment includes perforated leather seating, with heated, 10-way power-adjustable front seats. Heated side mirrors with turn-signal indicators and Reverse tilt-down for easier parking, power tilt- and telescoping steering wheel, Bluetooth, Smart keyless entry and pushbutton start are also included. A power moonroof, power rear-window sunshade, manual rear window sunshades, remote retractable rear-seat headrests, automatic HID headlamps, foglamps, 18-inch wheels, and Acura/Bose surround-sound audio further add to the standard features list.
Two options packages are available on the Acura RL: Technology and Advance. The Technology Package adds navigation with voice recognition, real-time traffic and weather, Zagat Survey restaurant reviews, backup camera, rear-parking sensors, Active Front Lighting, and more. The Advance Package adds Adaptive Cruise Control, with Collision Mitigation Braking, power-folding side mirrors, and Maplewood trim across the dashboard, on the steering wheel and accenting the shift knob.
The 2012 Acura RL is powered by a 3.7-liter, 300-horsepower V6 engine mated to six-speed automatic transmission with Sequential Sportshift and Acura’s Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive. EPA mileage ratings are 17 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.
