The Highlander is available with fold-away third-row seating for even more interior flexibility. Together with the Lexus RX 400h, the Highlander offers a hybrid option in the midsized category. A 3.5-liter 270 horsepower V-6 comes standard with Highlander. Highlander Hybrid gets a 270 horsepower 3.3-liter V-6. Both engines are offered with either two-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Transmission options include a five-speed automatic and a CVT. Each Highlander is equipped with stability control, traction control, and anti-lock brakes.

Re: Why is my car overheating?My guess is what you're experiencing is every rubber part in the car dying at once. Have you ever changed the radiator hoses? Heater hoses?

How big was the overhaul? Could be poorly installed rings. Did the guy hone the bore?
Did he replace the valve guides?
