Description:
Toyota keeps its 4Runner SUV mild fresh, on both the exterior and interior. The 4Runner is distinguished from the front by its grille, bumper, head lamps, and fog lamps. To the side, wheel flares and lower body cladding are stand outs, while the rear boasts a nice bumper and tail lamps. Trim-specific details help further visual separate the various 4Runner iterations. Beneath the surface, the 4Runner is a traditional, body-on-frame SUV with proven off-road credentials and yet refined on-road manners. The standard powertrain is a strong 236-hp, 4.0-liter DOHC V-6, with an available 260-hp, 4.7-liter V-8 for more serious tow duty. Both engines are combined with a five-speed automatic transmission. The interior remains milder, with new fabrics and trim elements on certain editions. The standard audio system includes MP3/WMA-playback capability and an universal mini-jack. A rear entertainment system, navigation system with back-up camera, and Bluetooth capability are available on all 4Runners. Standard safety features include stability and traction control. Side and side-curtain air bags are available.

Re: Why is my car overheating?My guess is what you're experiencing is every rubber part in the car dying at once. Have you ever changed the radiator hoses? Heater hoses?

How big was the overhaul? Could be poorly installed rings. Did the guy hone the bore?
Did he replace the valve guides?
