The still young Scion brand has managed, in a very short time, to gain quite a following. The popularity of its original vehicle, the small-and-fun yet big-and-fun xB, led to their development of the small-yet-small xA hatchback which, after generating small-yet-smaller sales, has been retired from the Scion fleet. Replacing it, is the all-new Scion xD. A hatchback offering more space, comfort and fun than its predecessor. The sole powertrain is a 128 horsepower 1.8-liter inline four-cylinder engine. A five-speed manual transmission is standard, a four-speed automatic is available. Standard features include air-conditioning, auxiliary inputs on the stereo system and cruise control.
