Description:

The Porsche Cayenne is quite possibly the most sophisticated family hauler around. Now in its second generation, Cayenne has clearly seduced a nice number of drivers into its driver’s seat and left enough of a lasting impression for it to remain in the Porsche family. A more-than-just-powerful-enough 1.9-liter 290 horsepower V-6 is standard. A 4.8-liter 385 horsepower V-8 is available for drivers who might feel the V-6’s 290 horses are just not quite enough for lift off. For those with power fetishes however, a twin-turbocharged version of the 4.8-liter V-8 is available, promising a hearty 500 horses. As with its sports cars, Porsche remains on the cutting edge of everything-ness with the Cayenne SUV.
