Description:
Parked in the SUV slot of the Pontiac lineup, the Torrent brings fresh style to the brand. With seating for five, the compact Torrent marks yet another entry in to the increasingly crowded small-SUV segment. Still, the possibility of the Pontiac making the shopping lists of many is promising as it is a fuel friendly and family functional SUV in a time when the cost of operating the once-popular rolling monoliths, such as the Suburban, is being called into question. A 185 horsepower 3.4-liter V-6 is offered at the Torrent’s base. An optional 264 horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 is also available.
