Competing in the hotly contested midsized sedan market, the Mitsu Galant distinguishes itself with sharp styling, generous equipment, and extensive warranty protection. The line-up begins with the four-cylinder DE and SE models, each fitted with a standard 160-hp four-cylinder engine with automatic transmission. Both models include four-wheel independent suspension, with MacPherson struts up front and a multi-link configuration to the rear. Disc brakes are fitted to all corners, but anti-lock is optional on most trim levels. The modern interior is dressed with attractive highlights and stylish metallic panels. Also available is a 4.9-inch LCD display and a drive computer that features mileage information, a door alarm indicator, maintenance recorder, compass, and calendar. Three different upholstery fabrics are offered: base cloth, premium cloth, and leather. Mitsubishi’s third Galant model is the Ralliart with a 258-hp V6, sport-tuned suspension, and distinct bodywork.

Re: Why is my car overheating?My guess is what you're experiencing is every rubber part in the car dying at once. Have you ever changed the radiator hoses? Heater hoses?

How big was the overhaul? Could be poorly installed rings. Did the guy hone the bore?
Did he replace the valve guides?
