Description:

The 2008 Jaguar S-Type, with its tasteful interior design and layout, showcases true British elegance on four wheels, and it will be history after the 2008 model year as it will be replaced with an entirely new model in 2009. The standard edition rear-wheel drive S-Type 3.0 includes a 235-hp 3.0-liter V-6 engine. S-Type 4.2 and S-Type VDP Edition are each powered by a 300-hp 4.2-liter V-8, while S-Type R comes equipped with a supercharged version of the 4.2-liter V-8 that generates an impressive 400 horsepower. All models come standard with 18-inch or 19-inch wheels. Available packages and options allow for personalized adornments ranging from a programmable garage door opener, to sport-tuned suspension, and even heated front seats. Exterior touch-ups for S-Type’s swan song include the sportier bumper native to the S-Type R becoming standard on all S-Type models.
