The Hyundai Sonata boasts an EPA “Large Car” classification. Two inches taller than previous generations, with a wheelbase that is one-inch longer, the Sonata nearly dwarfs its competition. With seating for five, the Sonata offers a rear center armrest, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and front and in-trunk 12V power outlets all as standard features. Four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, LATCH child seat security, and front seatbelt pretensioners keep things safe for driver and passengers. Offered in three trim levels, the GLS and SE come standard with a 2.4-liter 162 horsepower four-cylinder engine. The LX moves up to a 3.3-liter 235 horsepower V-6.

Re: Why is my car overheating?My guess is what you're experiencing is every rubber part in the car dying at once. Have you ever changed the radiator hoses? Heater hoses?

How big was the overhaul? Could be poorly installed rings. Did the guy hone the bore?
Did he replace the valve guides?
