Description:

Competing with the Honda Civic and the Toyota Corolla, the 2008 Hyundai Elantra, offers three trim levels for shoppers to choose from. GLS, available as a four- or five-door, offers a spacious interior, with ample thought clearly given to storage capacity during the design phase – Elantra boasts more interior space than the Acura TL. The midrange SE, offers the same spacious interior as the GLS, while providing a sportier feel and appearance and offering additional optional features such as a power sunroof, ABS, and traction control. GLS Limited strives for luxury with its leather seating surfaces and wood grain interior trim. All 2008 Elantra models, available with five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmissions, come with a 138-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, 132-hp if purchased as a Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle.
