The Chrysler Pacifica leaves room for families to grow with LX base model 5-passenger seating, and three-row “2+2+2” seating on Touring and Limited models. The Pacifica crossover vehicle comes standard with a 200 horsepower 3.8-liter V-6 engine, and offers an optional 253 horsepower 4.0-liter V-6. Four- and six-speed transmissions are offered. Available side-curtain air bags for all seat rows, inflatable driver’s knee blocker, driver and passenger multi-stage air bags, anti-lock brakes, all wheel drive, and second- and third-row seats that can be folded flat make Pacifica a safe and utilitarian ride. Intended for those who want a car but might be inclined to toss a coin between a minivan or SUV instead, the Pacifica offers a bit of all flavors with the size and visibility of a minivan and SUV, and with car-like fuel economy. With available extras such as leather trim, upgraded entertainment systems, and cargo capacity enhancements, the Pacifica can come across as equally fun and responsible.
