Description:
Larger than the TrailBlazer and smaller than the Suburban, the Chevrolet Tahoe satisfies those who need both space to stretch out and power to haul. Standard equipment includes a 4.8-liter 295 horsepower V-8. Two optional engines include a 5.3-liter 320 horsepower V-8 and a mean 6.0-liter 320 horsepower V-8 hybrid. All engines come standard with a four-speed automatic transmission. Two-wheel and four-wheel drive models are available. Remote vehicle starting, front and rear heated seats, rear-end distance sensors for parking assistance, navigation system, DVD entertainment system and power operated “fold-and-tumble” rear seats are all optional amenities. Chevy Tahoe will appeal to large-vehicle loyalists.

Re: Why is my car overheating?My guess is what you're experiencing is every rubber part in the car dying at once. Have you ever changed the radiator hoses? Heater hoses?

How big was the overhaul? Could be poorly installed rings. Did the guy hone the bore?
Did he replace the valve guides?
