Old school looks with new school guts, the HHR delivers a drive down Nostalgia Lane. A standard 2.2-liter 149 horsepower inline four-cylinder engine is standard. A 2.4-liter 175 horsepower inline four-cylinder is optional. True “vroom” singers however will likely be more interested in the more muscular HHR SS fitted with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 260 horsepower engine powering a ride that jukes on sport-tuned suspension. HHR’s available transmissions include a five-speed manual and four-speed automatic. Stylistas and motorheads are both likely to agree that HHR delivers.
