Available as a rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive car, the STS gives shoppers three engine options to choose from. Standard equipment includes a 302 horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 while a 320 horsepower 4.6-liter V-8 is available. If 302 horses aren’t enough, STS is also available with a 469 horsepower 4.4-liter supercharged V-8. Each engine includes variable valve timing, and each comes with a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard and optional features include 18-inch wheels, Bose 5.1 Stereo Surround Sound with Navigation, and all-leather seats, available with heater and ventilation.

Re: Why is my car overheating?My guess is what you're experiencing is every rubber part in the car dying at once. Have you ever changed the radiator hoses? Heater hoses?

How big was the overhaul? Could be poorly installed rings. Did the guy hone the bore?
Did he replace the valve guides?
