The A8, Audi’s luxury-liner available in two sizes, gets the full treatment for 2007. Standard, A8 comes with a 4.2-liter 350-hp V-6 with a six-speed Tiptronic transmission. Those looking for an A8 with the full-length treatment may find solace in the A8L, available with a 4.2-liter 350-hp V-8 with six-speed Tiptronic transmission, or a 450-hp 6.0-liter W-12, also with Tiptronic transmission. Adding a little spunk to this luxo is the sport tuned and lightweight S8, with a 5.2-liter 450 horsepower W-10. All A8 models come standard with Audi’s own Quattro all-wheel drive technology. With seemingly infinite interior customization options, A8 puts driver and passengers right into the lap of luxury…even on red leather seating surfaces if one should so prefer.
