Unlike its past iterations though, the once immature, tuner-oriented Eclipse now exudes a pleasant combination of sleek exterior design, comfortable interior refinements and real performance beyond that of any of its predecessors. Under its hood, the entry Eclipse GS boasts a 2.4-liter four cylinder engine that develops 162 horsepower and 162 lb.-ft. of torque. The upscale GT version receives the more powerful 3.8-liter V6 engine that produces 263 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. |
