Description:

Outstanding performance, fuel efficiency, and distinct styling put the Subaru Outback out front where it belongs. With options galore available, Subaru gives Outback shoppers the ability to get whatever they want, however they want it. The base 2.5i comes packed with a 175-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a five-speed manual transmission, and with four speed SPORTSHIFT automatic optional. All-wheel drive, standard with the Outback, is graced with newly designed 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and limited-slip differential. 2.5XT Limited Wagon gets an upsized 2.5-liter 243-hp turbocharged engine. The 3.0R Wagon matures into a six-cylinder 245-hp powerplant. All Outbacks are offered with Limited packages that add various comfort and convenience features. For the more “high-fashion” consumer, Subaru offers the Outback 3.0R Wagon L.L. Bean Edition, which offers fashionable accents such as L.L. Bean embroidered floor mats, L.L. Bean logo embossed seats, and two-tone leather trim upholstery. Equipped with big muscles, the Outback gives its competitors something to worry about.
