Description:
Well loved by livery services and retirees, the Lincoln Town Car is the brand’s best-selling model. A 4.6-liter 239-hp V-8 with a four-speed automatic transmission carries over, while many smaller V-6s have more horsepower and gears. The Town Car is offered in four trim levels, plus three additional configurations for fleet customers, and the sedan is offered in standard and six-inch extended wheelbases. Starting with the Signature trim, all Town Cars have leather seating surfaces, eight-way power adjustable front seats with lumbar support, power-adjustable pedals, dual-zone automatic climate control, head side mirrors, universal garage door opener, and remote keyless entry. The Signature Limited upgrades the stereo and adds leather and wood trim elements, power trunk open/close, driver’s memory function, and 10-spoke aluminum wheels. Designer trim notches up the presentation with chrome center pillars and door handles, 18-spoke wheels, upgraded leather, and adjust rear head restraints. The Signature L goes limo, with the lengthened wheelbase, heavy-duty anti-roll bar, folding center arm rests, and rear amenities package with an illuminated cigar lighter, heated back seats, and remote controls for audio and climate. Options are limited to a CD changer, THX-certified audio system, power moon roof, whitewall tires, two-tone paint, and trunk organizer.
