Description:
Descended from the extinct Aviator SUV, Lincoln's first crossover vehicle challenges the Lexus RX. Seating five passengers, the MKX may have front-wheel drive or "intelligent" all-wheel drive. Called the "quietest Lincoln ever," it uses a 265-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 (which runs on regular-grade fuel), driving a class-exclusive six-speed automatic transmission. Second-row seats recline, and can fold and pivot in one movement. An all-glass panoramic Vista Roof is available, along with heated/cooled front seats and THX-II audio. Available adaptive headlamps pivot as the driver steers. Marketed in a single series, the MKX can have Ultimate and Elite option packages.
