Description:
Packed with advanced technology, Lexus' fourth-generation full-size luxury sedan gets a new eight-speed automatic transmission, said to boost performance and fuel economy. Lexus claims 0-60 mph acceleration in 5.4 seconds, courtesy of a 380-horsepower, 4.6-liter V-8 that earns a 27-mpg highway estimate. A new LS 460 L extended-length sedan is the company's first long-wheelbase model. Eight airbags are standard (up to 11 with the optional Executive Package). A Brake Hold function prevents "creep" and rolling backward. An optional Advanced Parking Guidance System actually steers the car into a parking space. A Hybrid LS 600h L arrives in the spring.
