Description:

After two generations of modest advancement, Honda truly raised the bar with the current Civic line up. Thoroughly designed, the Civic has sleek styling wrapped around a spacious interior destined to appeal to the Gran Turismo generation. A deep dash houses a digital instrument panel. The center stack accommodates Honda-simple controls and provides for an optional navigation system--a rare feature in this category. The sedan interior, in particular, is relatively spacious for the class providing good comfort, front and rear. The base 140-hp four-cylinder engine provides more power than would be expected, with exceptional fuel economy. A 1.3-liter 110 horsepower hybrid variant stretches gasoline even further, with a modest performance concession. A 1.8-liter 113-horsepower CNG-powered engine is also available. Enthusiasts will gravitate toward the Si coupe and sedan, with its high-revving, 197 horsepower I-4 and sport-tuned suspension. All models come standard with side and side-curtain air bags, four-channel ABS, and active front head restraints.
