Description:
The GMC Canyon, available with rear-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive, with two different engines to choose from, gives regular, extended and crew cab mid-size truck shoppers a bit of variety to choose from. Standard equipment includes a 185 horsepower 2.9-liter four-cylinder engine with five-speed manual transmission that offers 190 lb.-ft. of maximum torque. Available is a 3.7-liter five-cylinder engine with available four-speed automatic transmission that promises 242 horsepower and 242 lb.-ft. of maximum torque. Standard and available features include traction control with locking differential on rear-wheel drive models, On-Star with hands-free capability, XM satellite radio, AM/FM stereo with in-dash CD player, heated leather front-row seating surfaces, and external climate temperature gauge.
