Description:
The Dodge Ram 1500 pickup got a bit of a facelift for 2006 when it was granted a new front everything, new wheels, and an updated interior, including a new instrument panel, and new seats, all attached to an all-new frame offering multiple cab sizes, making for a bolder, tougher looking Dodge Ram pickup, and all those updates remain for the current year. Engine options include a standard 215 horsepower 3.7-liter V-6, a 235 horsepower 4.7-liter V-8, and a 345 horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI V-8. Safety features, comfortable ride and handling, and available 4x4 set the Ram well ahead of competitors. Dodge Ram Heavy Duty trucks, including Dodge Ram and Dodge Ram 3500 HD come standard with 345 horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine capable of delivering 375 lb.-ft. of torque. An optional 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel good for 650 lb.-ft. of torque is offered for Dodge Ram Heavy Duty trucks.
