Description:
BMW offers shoppers two distinctly different yet similarly rooted SUV models for 2007. X3, BMW’s trimmer option, comes standard with a 260-hp 3.0-liter I-6. External touches for the X3 include front and rear bumpers that are now body-colored, 18-inch wheels with the available Sport Package, and additional chrome accents on the grill and beltline. The X5, the larger of the two siblings, with optional third-row seating, offers two performance options. A 260-hp 3.0-liter I-6 comes standard, while a 350-hp 4.8-liter V-8 is available. Various packages and a slew of individual options allow buyers to personalize and tailor X3 and X5 to their needs. Both SUVs offer BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system.
