Curvier than typical SUVs, Audi's full-size "crossover" is the first real sport-utility model from the German automaker. Seven passengers can enjoy an available Open Sky panorama glass sunroof. Audi's 4.2-liter V-8 sends 350 horsepower to a six-speed Tiptronic automatic transmssion, coupled to Quattro all-wheel drive. Leather seating surfaces and a power tailgate are standard, along with side-curtain airbags. An immense console separates front occupants. The Q7 earned five-star crash-test ratings for frontal and side impacts. An optional Side Assist system can monitor blind spots. An Adaptive Air Suspension is available. Audi also offers a lower-priced Q7 with a 3.6-liter engine.
