Description:
With luxury seating for seven, the Acura MDX represents the first entry into the SUV market from an automaker that has become renowned for quality that lasts. Since its launch just a few years ago, the MDX has proven year after year that Acura is no one-trick pony. Smooth body lines, a well-tuned, go-anywhere chassis and suspension, and a powerful V-6 engine combine for one enticing package. The MDX comes in a range of trims, all of which are driven by the same capable 3.7-liter SOHC V-6 engine. This stout little powerplant pumps out an energetic 300 horsepower and 275 lb.-ft. of torque. A five-speed automatic transmission is also standard at all price points. Pricing for the MDX ranges from $39,995 to $47,795. Standard features include full-time all-wheel drive, vehicle stability control and front, side, and side-curtain airbags. Stepping up to higher end models adds features like ten-way driver and eight-way passenger power seating with memory function and hands-free wireless phone interface. A navigation system and rear seat entertainment round out the high-end options.
