| | Honda's luxury division has gained a "premium entry" crossover vehicle, with a new turbocharged engine and Super Handling All-Wheel Drive. Operating with i-VTEC valve control, the 2.3-liter turbo four cranks out 240 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque--the most of any Acura engine. A five-speed automatic transmission incorporates Sequential SportShift for manual gear changes. SH-AWD distributes optimum torque not only between front and rear axles, but between left and right rear wheels. Seating five, the RDX features a steeply-angled windshield and short rear overhang. Centerpiece of the available Technology Package is a 410-watt Acura/ELS Surround Premium Sound System. |
