It should be mentioned that many rotors have a threaded opening at the top side so that you can twist a secure in and force the blades away from the hub; far simpler than reaching it with a hammer! It hard to replace rotors on some though need some special tool for it.

all you have to do is un bolt the whole assembly with two bolts on the inside of the brakes and the whole unit should lift off the the rotor should pull right off. if they are stuck use a rubber malet to slightly remove it without scratching the disc.

i did not know that. i will pop out to pick up deep creep. Also would taking a torch between the studs help loosen it? I want to be careful with that though so as not to ignite the penetrating oil?

You used PB? PB is realy not thin enough to realy penatrate, I always like to use Deep Creep or kroil, realy thin and pene trates a lot deeper and quicker.

Thanks, I soaked it overnight in PB penetrating oil but no luck. My next step is to find a jaw puller. I already used my 4 pound mallet to beat the things off.

After you remove the caliper and caliper torque plate, the rotor should pull off, probley just rusted and seized to the hub,I could tell you some horror stories about Ford rotors, some even required a sledge even after soaking with Deep Creep.
