Ther are 2 different low presure (return hose) hoses listed for that van, sure you have the right hose?

I replaced the low pressure power steering hose on my van with a 302-v8. The hose wants to bind when I turn all the way to the left or right. The hose has to be positioned wrong because it wants to cause another leak near the fitting on the power steering pump.
