Finished Rebuild
Here is the rebuilt unit back in place. This is a restored engine compartment from a mid-Sixties musclecar and the owner didn't like the brake fluid running down the re-plated power booster and dripping on the frame rail. The rebuild kit cost approximately $20, but your retailer might not have one in stock. Be prepared to wait a day for a special-order delivery.

The master is secured to the booster with only two shouldered nuts. Remove the single or dual brake lines, taking care not to spill brake fluid on any painted surfaces, and the unit is out and ready for a rebuild.
