by Chris McCarthy on

Honda has just unveiled the latest updates for the 2012 Accord.

The 2012 Honda Accord lineup continues to be quite reasonably priced. It starts at $21,380 for a manual version of the Accord LX Sedan. The top range model is the Accord EX-L V-6 Sedan (with Navi), with delivers power through a 5 speed automatic gearbox, for $31,830.

While the overall appearance of the 2012 Accord will not differ much from that of the 2011 models, Honda is making a few changes to improve their flagship vehicle. Some of the changes include a slightly redesigned grill and a reconfigured dashboard, updated with driving ergonomics in mind.

One new alteration that will be represented across the whole Accord line up will be the addition of a USB audio interface. This interface is designed to work seamlessly with all MP3 and Windows Media Audio systems. In addition to the USB interface, there is an auxiliary audio input jack specifically designed so users can plug in their MP3 players.

The 2012 Honda Accord has garnered a five-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and comes complete with a full array of airbags and other safety innovations.

Last but not least, Honda has announced a new Special Edition trim version of the 2012 Accord Sedan. It will come standard with a 177 horsepower engine and plenty of extra luxuries. The Accord SE received a 23/34/27 mpg rating for both its manual and automatic transmissions.
