Hyundai will be a featured advertiser in its sixth consecutive Super Bowl this year, during which it will showcase a few of its models with some creative commercials. Hyundai will have five game-day ads, four of which will be all-new spots; two will be aired during the pregame show, and two will be aired during the game.
The all-new Hyundai Santa Fe is the all-star of the crew, featured in three of the five commercials. It makes sense that it will be featured the most considering its balance of dynamic aesthetics, performance and universal functionality. The Santa Fe hosts a high-output powertrain with direct fuel injection and will compete with any mid-size crossover SUV on the market. The three commercials will epitomize the family-oriented feel that the Santa Fe emits, which is a strong strategic move on Hyundai’s part.
Next in line for the spotlight is the Sonata Turbo, which has a direct-injected 2.4-liter engine with 198 horsepower and 184 foot-pounds of torque. During the advertisement you’ll see a couple facing some interesting obstacles on their way across the country, but nothing too much for the Sonata Turbo to dodge or boost past.
And for the last, but certainly not the least impressive car, Hyundai will advertise the Genesis R-Spec during the pre-game show. The Genesis R-Spec (full review here) is nothing to joke about with its powerful 429 horsepower engine and 8-speed transmission. With specs like this, its no wonder why the commercial will feature the R-Spec speeding around a race track with the voice of Gus Johnson in the backdrop.
Hyundai has been producing impressive cars that have solidified it as one of the premier automakers, and with these commercials coming soon, it may advance even more in the auto market. Make sure to watch the Super Bowl to catch some of these great ads.
