Forty-five minutes outside of Las Vegas, speed and luxury seekers can register for a high-performance driving experience brought to you by Cadillac.
The V-Series Academy is located at the Spring Mountain Motor Resort & Country club in Pahrump, NV, and boasts more than 4 miles of racetrack apart from its golf course.
Offering a day package for $1,295 or a two-day package for $2,295, drivers can test out the capacity of the Cadillac CTS-V and its whomping 6.2L V8 engine. The curriculum is designed by racecar driver and Le Mans class winner, Ron Fellows. Exercises include control techniques, on-track performance, and of course, high-speed motoring merriment.
For excitement with a lower budget, Ford offers a high-performance driving school as well, located 40 minutes outside of Salt Lake City, Utah at Miller Motorsports Park. Their programs range from hourly to daily, with a Mustang GT racer for a 10-lap speed experience costing $300.
The classes are available year-round and are limited to 12 students a session. For those interested, head over to cadillacvacademy.com to sign up. It sounds to us like a way better Vegas side trip than going to tour the Hoover Dam.
