2014 Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition: First Look

There are plenty of Italian sports cars to drool over at the Geneva Motor Show this week, and the 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition staked its claim among the big boys as the first production 4C that is now available for sale. Only 500 will be made available in all of North America, at a price of about $78,000. That may seem a bit steep, but... seriously... just look at it.

The 2014 4C Launch Edition boasts the bodacious body that we’ve been teased with for over a year now, with a few special touches that make this model a little extra special. Only two colors will be available to the 4C Launch Edition, either Carrara White or Alfa Red, and they will all be accented with carbon rear wings and door mirror covers. The rear diffuser, headlight clusters and alloy wheels will be blacked out.

Alfa Romeo didn’t ignore the performance aspect, either. Unique front air ducts are located just aft of the headlights, and the 4C Launch Edition has been fitted with a racing exhaust system, BMC air cleaner and suspension kit. The racing theme continues on the inside as semi-Alcantara sport seats pair with a numbered carbon badge so your own 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition stands apart from the rest.
