Mercedes-Benz has announced the pricing of the highly anticipated 2014 CLA45 AMG, at $47,450 before delivery charges.

The CLA45 will have a 2.0L inline-four engine with 355 horsepower and 332 lb.-ft of torque, making it the most powerful four-cylinder in production. The motor uses a twin-scroll turbocharger, lowering back pressure and minimizing turbo lag. This results in improved fuel economy and exhaust emissions. A stop/start function has also been added to aid in fuel economy. The CLA45's turbocharger generates up to 26.1 psi, and Mercedes claims the CLA can get from 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. More...

Small cars are undergoing a resurgence in America these days, and the 2014 Nissan Versa Note stands poised to make a splash when it hits dealerships later this month with an attractive $13,990 starting point.

The newly-designed Versa Note S will be available with a five-speed manual transmission that – along with standard active grille shutters and a 1.6L four-cylinder engine – returns 40 MPG highway. More buyers will likely opt for the Versa Note S Plus with CVT, however, which returns 31/35 MPG and bumps the price up to $15,240. Almost four months since its unveiling at the North American Auto Show, Lexus has announced the MSRP for the new 2014 IS sedan. The RWD version of the IS 250 starts at $36,845, while the AWD version starts at $39,380. There is some sticker shock – a good type of sticker shock. The RWD IS 350 starts at $40,360 and the AWD IS 350 starts at $42,595 -- 2% percent cheaper than last year’s model.

All models will be decked out will a bevy of features, including HID headlamps, L-shaped LED daytime running lights, Drive Mode Select, paddle shifters, a dual zone climate control system, a next-generation Remote Touch Interface, Display Audio, a color 4.2 inch TFT multi-information display and 10 airbags. Pricing of the highly anticipated 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will start at $51,995 MSRP, while the 2014 Corvette Convertible will cost $56,995, both including $995 destination. Which is, actually, pretty damn impressive.

The first Corvettes that pop up in dealerships will come equipped with an enormous mark-up, of course, so the early birds will likely plop down quite a bit more money than this.  Still, the level of technology and advancement in the 2014 Corvette Stingray could warrant a much higher base price – especially considering the 2012 base Corvette ran $49,525. Equipped with the same 4.2L V8 engine pumping out 450 horsepower and 317 lb.-ft of torque as the RS 5 coupe, the 2013 Audi RS5 Cabriolet hardly loses any performance despite the added weight from a power top.
