Expertise distinguishes and defines autoMedia.com
Considered the originator of automotive media, Robert E. Petersen (1926 - 2007) was the majority owner of autoMedia Solutions, Inc. from its inception. The founder of several iconic car titles such as Motor Trend and Hot Rod magazines, as well as Los Angeles' Petersen Automotive Museum, Petersen brought unrivaled automotive industry know-how to the digital realm. He was joined by another legend, Carroll Shelby, who is still serving on the Board of Directors for autoMedia Solutions, Inc. Known worldwide for his unprecedented accomplishments in automotive innovation, performance-fueled engineering, and racing, Shelby remains a driving force in the automotive world today.
autoMedia Solutions, Inc. founder and CEO Doug Hamlin combines his Marine-hardened dedication with his veteran experience as a former Motor Trend publisher to drive the business built around the creed "automotive advice you can trust." Hamlin is joined by former Motor Trend Marketing Director, Marshall Flemion, who taps his years of management in his role as President. The multi-talented Brian Hamlin rounds out the senior management team serving as autoMedia Vice President and Publisher.
Other former Petersen Publishing professionals and magazine writers join these leaders who together have created a unique, consumer-focused automotive destination online to serve the expanding digital needs of interested car shoppers and enthusiasts. This combination of insightful vehicle reviews, technical articles, and automotive features covers the full cycle of vehicle ownership and enjoyment.
