Description:
What do coffee, cola, chocolate, Red Bull, Rock Star, and the Lexus IS family have in common? It’s a rhetorical question. The IS lineup includes a 204-hp, 2.5-liter V6 in rear- or all-wheel drive, a 306-hp, 3.5-liter six with rear-wheel drive, and the full-tilt IS F, with a 416-hp, 5.0-liter V8 driven by the rear wheels. The IS 350 RWD and IS 250 AWD come with a six-speed sequential shift automatic transmission. The IS 250 RWD gets a choice of the same six-speed auto or a six-speed manual. The F model gets an eight-speed sport Direct-Shift automatic. All are considered four-door high-performance sedans, with the IS F boasting the biggest buzz.
